Event Description
Advocacy presentations will highlight various components of community engagement in the arts: arts education, the creative economy, public art, and cultural institutions. The day will include the presentation of the Governor's Arts Award to a town or city for their collective efforts to enhance the vitality of their community throught the arts.
Denver Art Museum:
8am-8:30am: Networking, Breakfast, Registration
8:30am-10:30am: Arts Advocacy Speakers & Presentation
State Capitol:
10:30am-12:15pm: Meet with legislators at the Capitol
Denver Art Museum:
12:15pm-2pm: Lunch and Speakers
