- I am the coordinator for Denver Botanic Gardens' Certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration program. I am a scientist (botanist) with a PhD in quaternary biology and D.Sc in palynology and have been strongly involved in higher education in Europe, Australia and in the US. I am currently on the faculty of the University of Colorado at Boulder.

- Being a scientist I understand and strongly support the need of arts education in our school system and also later on.
