Seeking volunteers for Arts Festival (May 22-25)
Think 360 Arts is seeking volunteers for the Downtown Denver Arts Festival over Memorial Day weekend. It's a fun event and a great way to support arts and culture in Colorado. Details are below. WHAT: The Downtown Denver Arts Festival showcases more than 100 Colorado artists and will take place May 22 – 25, 2009 at the Denver Pavilions (www.downtowndenverartsfestival.org). Think 360 Arts is the official festival nonprofit partner, meaning proceeds from beverage sales and gratuities will help support our mission of ensuring arts education for every Colorado child. We need your help to staff the event! Here are all the details.
WHEN: Volunteers must be available for a minimum of one 4 hour shift. Following are hours that we will need volunteers:
Friday, May 22 :: 6 – 10am, 4pm – 8pm
Saturday, May 23 :: 3:30pm – 8 pm
Sunday, May 24 :: 2pm – 5pm
Monday, May 25 :: 11am – 3pm, 3pm – 7pm
WHO: We need volunteers for the following tasks: beverage booths (must be 21+), assisting artists and booth sitting, check in and information tables, roaming and traffic flow, set up and tear down. Volunteers will be assigned to tasks based on need. No heavy lifting!
PERKS: Volunteers can park for free in the Pavilions garage and will receive a festival t-shirt and Qdoba Qdoba meal voucher for every day of service. Plus, be a part of creating a wonderful festival experience for the community and interact with artists from all over Colorado.
